An immersive experience in the Benozzo Gozzoli Chapel
JUNE 26th, 2014, 15 p.m.
Palazzo Medici Riccardi, Florence
Luca Giordano Hall
Following on from the workshop which has taken place in various sessions from November 2013 to May 2014, the research performed, dealing with the psychophysiological effects of the perception of augmented reality, will be presented along with a screening of the 4k video and the reports by the members of the work group.
Workshop participants have had the chance to join the magnificent procession of Benozzo Gozzoli’s work, and to reflect in the relative elements of time, enacting their own perceptive modes amplified in the visual, auditory, and kinaesthetic dimensions, to the extent of confronting their own relationship with epiphany, intended as the phenomena manifesting in a possible conscious perception. Contact with the artwork has been amplified by a suitable modulation of the sonic dimension specifically composed for the so-called “Chamera di Lorenzo”.
