David Moss, voice
Francesco Canavese and Francesco Giomi, sound & live electronics
The extemporary and evocative sound world of the American vocalist interacts with the no-boundary electroacoustic world of Sdeng. A surprising journey that explores the acoustic and electronic dimension of voice (interacting with a series of live sound processing techniques) and the relationships between the definied and improvised music material.
David Moss. He is considered one of the most innovative singers and percussionists in contemporary music. He has performed his solo work all over the world. In 1991 he received a Guggenheim Fellowship; in 1992, a DAAD Fellowship (Berlin). Moss is the co-founder (with Muziektheater Transparant) and artistic director of the Institute for Living Voice (ILV), a workshop center hosting Master Singers from around the world.
Sdeng. The project is the collaboration between Francesco Canavese and Francesco Giomi at Tempo Reale. Canavese, guitarist and composer of jazz music as well as expert of music technology, has specialized over recent years at Tempo Reale in performing live electronics. Giomi, composer and sound projectionist, collaborates with important choreographers, directors and performers; his works of electronic music are performed on many occasions and awarded in international prizes
