The new festival fills a gap in the Italian musical panorama and gives voice to musical research and its use of technologies in noncommercial contexts. Tempo Reale inaugurates an initiative to introduce their own musical productions, to promote quality experiences that emerge on a national and international level and to create a constant working connection with young contemporary creativity. The events will take place at CanGo-Cantieri Goldonetta, (directed by Virgilio Sieni) within the context of an a artistic residence.
Sampling is one of the major processes that has revolutionized musical thought in every aspect of its expression. For many years music has taken advantage of Its technical aspects allowing for the birth of new digitalsonic forms, musical objects and languages which are completely new. The ten days of the festival will introduce original initiatives which are structurally connected to digital music based on the ideas of sampling. Various events will take place such as live concerts to  musical theater to actual installations. All of this will take place, keeping in mind the relationship between the tradition of electronic music and the productions of the new generations of composers.
